Meagan F. Clements, M.A.ed, is a credentialed schoolteacher and writer based in Southern California. She enjoys all aspects of music journalism and creative writing as well as working with children and teens. Her writing stems largely from real life people, events, and experiences.

In 2018, Miss Clements received a certificate of teacher appreciation, recognizing her outstanding work for opening children’s minds to new ideas, serving as an excellent mentor, and helping to create exemplary citizens.

Meagan is a proud member of the Greater Los Angeles Writer’s Society (GLAWS) as well as the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi).

Meagan has completed the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children for Adults program, the child abuse training for teachers in the Archdiocese as well as annual child abuse and neglect reporting training for public school teachers and school personnel. The training is based on requirements established by state law, including Assembly Bill (AB) 1432, and is offered through online courses provided by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).
